If anyone who has been lucky enough to visit this show, you understand the overload of all of the miles, and miles of treasures you are exposed to. For first timers, it can be a little overwhelming, to say the least.
So, in-between finding time to create new buckles, I'm going to try out this "blog" thing!
Trying to escape the extremely cold winter we've had in Michigan, I made my annual escape to Tucson, AZ for the Gem & Mineral show. It's probably the largest in the world, and a great source for all of my bead & bling supplies for the year. Buying is the easy part, going through the boxes and boxes of findings and putting them together in a unique creation is the challenge.
I have also been playing with creating buckles with natural leather & hair-on hides. I brought a few to a local shop that a friend owns and am waiting to get feedback.
